The shear butt welder can be used in high frequency welded pipe production units and in shear welding of Strip. Weldable materials include stainless steel, carbon steel and galvanized steel strips.shear end and welder is to cut off the irregular ends of steel strip and weld the ends of the front and next strips, which ensures the continuity of ERW pipe production.It takes pneumatic or hydraulic cutting and semi-automatic Tig welding.We can choose manual shear or hydraulic shear based on the thickness of the steel strip. Welding method can be artificial welding or automatic welding.

Product Operation

 

1. Inclined shear. Two upper shear blades are fixed on the upper base. The upper cutter base is connected with the machine frame by screw. The lower cutter blade is mounted on the mobile bracket. The lower bracket is operated up and down by the hydraulic cylinder.
2. The tightening device and positioning device are installed on the upper part of the frame for aligning and tightening the two welding strips. The tightening device and the positioning device are independent devices, which control the action of the cylinder through two side pedal switches respectively.
3.The two strips to be joined are placed in the middle of the copper electrode plate through the tightening device, and the welding torch is fixed on the moving slide block. The welding torch is driven forward and backward by the lead screw.
4. The motor drives the screw rod, and the output frequency of the frequency converter controls the speed of the motor and the welding speed.
5. The whole welding process is controlled by proximity switch, the welding torch moves, and the argon arc welding machine is controlled by the electronic control box. Automatically complete welding action.
6. The indicator lights on are in a tightening state, while the lights off are in a relaxing state.
7. Compression device is controlled by pedal switch. Each trample will cause a change in the state of the compression device.
8. The proximity switch is used to control the arc initiation and return of the welding torch. By adjusting the sensor on the moving block of the welding torch, the distance can reach 1-3 mm, so as to generate the induction signal. The arc initiation time of welding torch is controlled by electronic control without adjusting position and mode, and the arc initiation time of welding torch is 1-2.5mm at the edge of strip. Stop on the other side of the strip.
9.The position of the torch can be manually adjusted by two buttons, forward and backward.

Adjustment and Maintenance of shear & butt welder of strip
  1. An upper scissors blade has four blades. When replacing, loosen the frame screw.
  2. When the scissors are replaced, the front cover screw is removed, the bottom bracket is lifted, the two screws on the tool seat are loosened, and the scissors are removed forward.
Possible Troubles of Welding Torch and Solutions
If the welding is not normal within 5 seconds, the operator should press the emergency stop button to find out the cause . The reasons may be that the welding machine is not open, the distance between tungsten pole and strip is too far,Tungsten pole is oxidized,the surface of strip is too dirty or the oxide layer is too thick.

  3. In the welding process, the staff must have protective measures, such as wearing welding protective glasses or masks to protect the eyes and face, wearing flame retardant overalls and other protective measures.
